SAS - Scan For Spyware

1.) If SAS is not already running, run SAS from the
desktop by double-clicking.. SuperAntiSpyware Icon

2.) Click.. Scan Your Computer
By default all your drives will be selected for scanning in the
Scan Location section. It's best to leave it set to scan all drives.

3.) Click to choose between "Perform Quick Scan or
"Perform Complete Scan".  Then click.. NEXT .

Note: For your routine (weekly) scans, do the Quick Scan
and if you suspect you have a bad spyware problem, do the
Complete Scan. Do the Complete Scan every month or so.

Note: Wait about 15 to 60 minutes for scan to complete. You will
see the progress of the scan in the right column as it finds anything
in MEMORY, or REGISTRY, or FILES.

4.) When the scan is completed review the list of items detected.
This will give you an indication of how severe your spyware/adware
problem is. If it just finds cookies, you don't have a real problem,
but if there are lots of registry items or trojans found, it indicates
a more serious problem.

5.) Click.. NEXT and follow the prompts to delete the items found.
You may have to restart the computer to delete all the items found.
Just follow the prompts.

You are now done with the scan process.

You may exit SAS by clicking.... CLOSE or
by clicking.. X in the upper right corner
of the SAS window.
